VaYeara: "And he appeared"
Visitors often bring good news
And so it was with Abraham with them proclaiming:
"Sarah shall have a son."
"How can this be?"
But with the One who spins the sun into its dance moves the clouds in song and causes laughter in the belly
Anything can happen
Thus where barrenness had always been now G-d would plant fertile lands
A seed would stir and a son would grow
Abraham would touch Sarah's dry and lifeless womb and bring forth living waters of joy
Indeed there would be gentle dancing within
The stranger spoke in truth a giving messenger from G-d
He offered words of hope of prophecy and life
Born to this land to the covenant of Abraham would come a son
A child of both Heaven and Earth
Of G-d and Abraham
To traverse the hills as a shepherd like never known
Gathering flocks with the truth of his mothers and fathers and nurturing them with the food of his spiritual belly
