Chayei Sarah: Life of Sarah
Genesis 23:1 - 25:18

Treasures abound upon this fertile Earth

Bracelets of gold and bands of silver

A rich harvesting crops of corn and wheat

Quenching waters to satisfy the deepest thirst
and of course indescribable love

The love a man finds in the woman

Hagar

As she gently comes to fill her water jars

Within her eyes he sees their future yet to be shared

The priceless days and nights
still to unfold between one so close
Yet immeasurably a distance away

He longs to tell their story
to share their tale of this night
when they opened their hearts and became one

One heart

One love

One blessing
before G-d their source

Of this fertile
quenching
ever-deepening love
