Vayigash: "And he drew near"
This is more than sweet grain
It is a key to unlock hardened hearts Spread now before the L-rd who calls Opened hearts in search of abundant fields
Growing forgiveness and understanding
Where brother embraces brother
Not in a cloak of past injury
Joseph opens his hands and heart to his brothers Who once threw him in a pit and sold him into slavery But today does this matter? As all drink from the cup of redemption
A family is united
While brothers' journey toward a new home And despite the barren land Children will play Daughters flourish Sons grow
And all give shall thanks to the L-rd
The step and hour
But to a reunion of all possibility
