Tzav: “Command"
Leviticus 6:1 - 8:36

And the grain

The simplest seed from the earth
shall also be offered in sacrifice

Brought to the priest who offers it
to the glory of the L-rd

Baked in an oven

Pan

Or griddle

It is given to the priest
who lifts it in glory to the One who gives all life

For it is the sacred taste of such food
which brings forgiveness for losing our way

An inviting reunion where hand-in-hand
in the tent of the Holy's

We offered simple seeds not in fear
as in praise of our G-d who comes in a cloud

With fire and dust

To comfort the children of Israel
