Emor: “Say gently”
Leviticus 21:1 - 24:23

Profound

To be honored
the Name above all names

In sound echoing from the lips

With the haunting sound of the ram’s horn
embrace how blessed we are to call Him in time of need

Supplication

Praise

And joy

The L-rd our G-d

Who leads our people out of the foreign land of Egypt
and onto the plains of discovery and wonder

Where in waves upon a thunderous sea

Striking again

And again

We hear that name

That song

And offer with all our beings

The same sanctification
our fore-bearers did in the Tents of the L-rd

Observing His commandments
as guideposts along the way
