Shofar (Akeidah) My eyes are open
As my soul listens to the sacred sound Blow the shofar loud and long Joyfully I lift the sacred horn
Exhaling my all Bind my soul to the altar of promise All I was or dream to become Here I joyfully sacrifice What HaShem first breathed into me Reaching my hand
With no question or regret
